Our meeting at The Berkshire on 3rd July 2019 was blessed with beautiful weather but, sadly, a poor turn out. Last year 38 members and guests turned out; this year there just 14. A great pity as the course was in magnificent condition.
The Autin Carris Memorial Trophies were played for on the Red Course in the afternoon. Winners on a count back from two other teams were Mick Donnelly and Peter Robinson seen below collecting their trophies from the IPC – Duncan Bateman.
The morning saw the field playing a stableford on the Blue Course. Philip Payze took the spoils winning with the magnificent total of 40 points. In second place was David Hough on 37.
The IPC took great pleasure in presenting David Hough with the Carris Trophy. This trophy is presented to the most succesful player of the season. It is usual to make this presentation at the AGM but as David was in South Africa he was unable to attend.
