Hazards v The Chartered Accountants Golf Society

This long established fixture was held at New Zealand Golf Club where John Gill lead his team of Accountants against the Society.

Once again we were blessed with a splendid day, clear blues skies and a light wind, on this pretty Surrey course.

The Hazards started very well by winning the first three matches and narrowly losing the final two making the Society 3 – 2 leaders as we sat down for a very special and memorable lunch.

It was a real struggle to rise from the table to get back out onto the course for the afternoon round.

The Accountants reversed the morning form by winning 3 -2 in the afternoon.  Most matches went to the wire with The Society just winning the last match to save our blushes.

A wonderful day was had by all who played thanks mainly to the super condition of the New Zealand Golf course and, of course, their chef.
