Hazards Golfing Society

Was founded in the heyday of amateur golf in 1936 by Austin Carris with the objects of “drawing together amateur golfers from all parts…that strong bonds of friendship will be formed amongst its members…to promote the best interests of golf and to preserve the dignity and prestige of the game and the Society”. Some 80 years on, the Society remains true to those aims.
